About

Griffin, with longer hair than he currently might have.
I'm a data-driven product operator and systems builder with 6+ years of experience across FAANG enterprise operations, SaaS startups, InsurTech, AI-enabled workflows, and independent consulting.
My work sits at the intersection of... wait, I can't use that–sounds too much like AI. My experience spans product, operations, customer success, automation, and regulated workflow design. I build practical systems that make complex work easier to manage, whether that's turning manual compliance processes into scalable workflows, improving onboarding and retention, designing internal tools that reduce grunt work, or translating technical-debt and manual chaos into clean product requirements.
Apart from my Product work, I've managed 30+ direct reports at a time while leading extended teams of 750+ employees across multiple countries. I've also personally managed 120+ employer portfolios with 99%+ year-over-year retention, and established distribution partnerships with 2M+ member platforms. No, I didn't do all of those at the same time.
I enjoy learning new domains (and doing it quickly) and applying my diverse toolkit across product strategy, customer experience, systems optimization, automation, AI, and regulated workflow design.
Core principles
Data-Driven Decisions
Metrics and analysis guide strategic decisions. If the data doesn't exist, we create it.
Build for the Real Workflow
Good systems account for how people actually work. A messy workflow that truly improves a process is better than a perfect workflow on paper that creates friction in practice.
Continuous Optimization
Small improvements compound. The goal is not just to launch, but to keep making the system better. If you don't, you'll fall behind quicker than you think.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Durable solutions come from understanding the customer, the data, and the business constraint. That requires real input from the people closest to the work.
Mentorship & Growth
Strong teams invest in each other's judgment, confidence, and potential.
Outside of work, Griffin enjoys hiking, rock climbing, or reading somewhere quiet. He spends most of his time with his family, including two boys, whose core principles currently include car vrooming, blueberrymaxxing, milk-based decision-making, and thorough sleep counter-optimization.
